Unfinished sketch featuring FaytxAlbel. Yes, for once it's not an AlbelxFayt but a FaytxAlbel... in which Fayt is the seme.

I like this pairing very much- I think it's just as likely as the AlbelxFayt pairing- if you take into account their actual comparative strengths and character personalities.

With Fayt's powers and Albel's personality- it's likely that Fayt would have an edge over Albel- especially with the emotional baggage Albel carries around with him- as shown in the cut scene when he gets his Crimson Scourge sword in the treasure room of Airyglyph castle.

I love depicting this possible hidden emotion he has- and I feel Fayt is the best character to bring that out of him. ^-^

I like to think of them as constantly rivalling equals- but once in a while it's nice to have a seme and uke. Usually Fayt takes uke position in my fanart/fanfiction because of my biased love of Albel- and the fact that Albel would not tollerate being one... but once in a while... when the moon is full- I go nuts and take him there all the way!

As you see in this scene... Fayt challenges Albel's 'fear' of affection, quite a popular conception of the reason behind his aloof hating nature. There are many other theories, but this picture mainly illustrates that one.

Hope you like it- one day I COULD finish it. Add color or something. Until that day comes, enjoy! ^-^

EDIT: Oh, and if you look closely above the title within the picture, you'll see the date. 'J'07'. That means Janruary 2007. ^-^

aaaaaaaaaaa i love it!!! sketchies are fun ^_^ and you're right about Fayt having that bit of an edge over Albel cuz of all the emotional baggage. i LOVE that cutscene. one of my favs [after the inn scene, of course, lol]. and YAY for FaytxAlbel! the fanfic im in the process of writing ["Learning to Love"] is FaytxAlbel instead of AlbelxFayt, though it could switch a little later on... heh heh..... X3 gawd. it is SO hard to write Albel as uke in a lemon. it is SO EFFIN DIFFICULT. but i did it. lol. i dunno how other people will like it, but hey, i tried. i mite start posting that fic here soon. [i havent posted it on fanfiction.net yet - i kinda wanna finish it first so i can update regularly and people dont have to wait very long for chapters, ya kno?] OH im working on a picture for you right now! =3 dunno how long itll take me to finish, but im drawing it on my tablet [i just got it, and its REALLY hard to get used to, lol. im trying]. i was gonna try an AlbelxFayt picture, but drawing one person is hard enough already X3 i gotta practice a LOT. i thought id just let you know the picture is in progress ^_^

Great work on the angles, dear! You really captured some movement in this one. The poses are wonderfully thought and Albel's expression is... is... -squee!!!- =3 yay.

Great points on the FaytxAlbel. I always think it's fun when someone makes Fayt the seme x3

Yeah, me too!! Fayt is headstrong, cocky and a natural leader... so I love picking out those points in his character every now and again!

And thanks for the comments o the structure so far! I'm looking to improve a bit on body forms but that I managed to just about draw two characters together not juststanding up in a scene??? :faints: I like Albel's expression most in this too- so glad you picked up on it! Thankyou so much for commenting! ^-^

*gasp* A FaytxAlbel fanfic??? *edges closer* Umm... you know... you could post it on here first. Just an idea. So I can read it- I mean! :faint: I'm looking forward to the Albel lemon... if that's how you say it. Not used to using that word. :o How about... I'm looking forward to smut in which Fayt is dominant and Albel is the uke. I also like FF as you mentioned, where power in the relationship shifts and changes. Ok, I like ANYTHING Albel and Fayt. ^-^

Hehe! I do that all the time too- I wait until I have a few chapters under my belt of a fanfiction before I submit a chapter so people don't have to wait yonks. I have tonnes of 3-4 chaptered fanfics in my USB stick at home that I haven't got around to completing or submitting yet.

=D She could definitely help Albel too.

But there's nothing in the game to go on to suggest that they could reconcile their differences or get over their dislike for eachother and become friends- so anyone attempting an AlbelxNel seriously wanting to keep them in character would have to do so very carefully. I have a couple of really cute plausable AlbelxNel doujinshi, so I'm not against that pairing. ;)

I don't think Maria is the most likely character to be with Fayt- that would have to be Sophia if you look at character personality, background and natural affnity. But Maria is definitely Sophia's rival and a strong contender! :heart:
