PA 63 - In this world- who are you?
Location: On the road to Airyglyph.
Availability: After end of game/ game complete, after PA 62.
Requirements: Must have achieved ending with Albel in party.
Type: Before leaving Kirlsa, put Albel in the last possible slot (back of party). After youve been in at least one battle, put Albel in the slot next to Fayt- in the battle formation.
Albel, can you swap with Cliff? Fayt asked, turning back to the samurai at the back of the party, as they made their way to Airyglyph to see the king.
Albel looked up quickly, making a small nod and striding pass the blonde bulky one. He had to stop himself from grinning at the annoyance flickering over the other mans face.
Albel knew what he was thinking. How could the bluenette swap him with Albel the Wicked?
Of course, Albel restrained a grin- but he could not restrain the smug gleam in his eyes- Cliff scowling at it as he trudged pass to the back of the group.
Wasnt working out with the brute at the front, hm? Albel remarked, as he stood next to Fayt and looked out to the pass.
Fayt folded his arms and shook his head. Come on, he gestured, nodding forwards, and Albel met his pace. Looking back, he found that they had pretty much left the others in the group behind them.
He would have questioned his young leader on the two of them being alone- but Albel Nox was more than capable of taking out the foes in his back yard. With Fayt Leingod present- well there was hardly any need to concentrate on the field at all.
So, did you call me out here for one on one training- or is something else on your mind? Albel questioned, Fayt turning to him , hand on hip.
I was about to ask you the same thing, he stated, Albels eyes widening- his mouth opening to reply- when Fayt cut him off unwittingly. Youve been occupied lately, what is it? he added, with an unmistakable sigh at the end.
Wha- occupied? Albel found that his throat was blocked by cold air. I-!
Dont try to deny it, Fayt continued, I saw you back there- deep in your own thoughts. Somethings up, he insisted boldly, meeting Albels stature and gaze.
The wicked one flailed around his thoughts in wild terror. Though his exterior expression was calm and his eyes narrowing again in scrutiny, his inner self was racing.
What should he say?
His feelings?
No!
Well, when all else failed- there were always, ultimatums. As typical as they were to his behaviour, he had to count on Fayt liking him for that.
So Albel the wicked clenched his fist and pointed his claw at the bluenette- and winged it.
Leingod- if you must know- I was thinking about the world we saved. How there are those with influence, those with strength- and those whom are worthless and weak. What I was thinking about just now was- where do we fit into the world now? Luther has gone- but didnt he show us how insignificant we were? Didnt we prove how strong we were? So what are you? Are you strong? Influential? Or are you weak? I know what I am now- but what about you? Albel asked sternly.
He expected Fayt to pause, but the bluenette simply smiled.
Another decision
wonderful.
To be continued...
